Daily JoyNotes - Monday, March 23
I'm on low battery power. I see the little red light flashing in my brain. Blip... blip.. blip. Soon the screen will go completely blank. It's only a matter of time. I had better write fast.
I went to see my mom today. She is doing pretty good. She was glad to see me. Not real sure who "me" is ... but there was recognition that I was someone she knew and that works for me. I have a hard time putting names and faces together myself .. so I don't have a problem with this. I just hope Saint Peter will do better than the two of us do when we show up at the Pearly gates. Maybe we should get name tags just in case.
One beautiful note. Is that one of the nurses where my mom works.. is a reader of JoyNotes! Isn't that something? Hi Mary! She wants me to pray for her mother - so I'm asking you to join with me. Her mother's name is JoAnn. She is on hospice.. so let's all pray three Hail Mary's for a beautiful and glorious entrance to heaven for her. And her family of course.
A friend sent me this email last week.. while I was in Great Falls, Montana. I just read it today.... it is very serious.. I have to include it with the JoyNotes.
Dear ....
If you are an owner of a dog that belongs to a 'dangerous breed' category
and you also have a small child please take this as a warning.
Don't leave your dog with the child unattended under any circumstances.
Only a little moment was enough for the following to happen.

Isn't that just too funny?
Here's a picture of Shelley during recreation this evening. We were watching a video and she could care less abaout that - but she liked the company. For part of the movie she used my foot as a pillow - glad to know I was useful for something!
