About

This Catholic Card site was started by me.. Sister Patricia Proctor in 1998. It was called Franciscan Cards because I am a Franciscan and that made sense to me. Now the site is called Holy Ecards - mainly because it is easier to spell and remember. Though if you have bookmarked franciscancards.com it will still come to this site.

Until this year I did most of the design for the site - but in 2008, I took the plunge and had it professionally designed.  I totally love the new design and ease of use… though it is taking us months to get it back to what the old site was doing. In the meantime we lost lots of friends.. who decided the change was too much. But we have stuck with it because it is a great design - its now located on my own server which is more affordable and it has tons of potential for making it a really top card site. I think if you give us a good year to get this site really going again .. you will like it too.

This site is mostly Catholic but I hope it will have a lot of appeal for all Christians.

About me? I am a Roman Catholic - Poor Clare Nun - and live in Spokane, Washington. You can visit our community site here.

I manage a Catholic radio station in our diocese… You can visit that site here.

Our community also publishes books… so far we have done five.. and in time… God’s time … we will be doing another.

Hello admin, I would love to commend you for the work well done. Well, I am still new to the site and haven’t yet discovered more, but what is clear is that I love everything catholic. The good Lord bless us all.

Do you still send out your daily JOY NOTES?

    They were very enjoyable.

God bless you and your work.

Sister Patricia Proctor, I just want to say I LOVE your site!! You are so creative!! I have been creating ecards from your site for years. I create them for family and friends, Catholics and non-Catholics — everyone! You really represent Catholics - the universal church! Thank You!!
    Peace & Love!

Just so people understand what I mean . . I mean that you show how Catholics are univeral and how we accept everyone. We are all God’s children. And your site has cards that are universal — that people from all faiths and all parts of the worlds and backgrounds — there is a card that can be created from this site that anyone can releate too - that is what I meant by Catholic being the univeral church.

I really like the card selection you have: simple, and tasteful. And I was surprised to learn that you are in Spokane. I know some Holy Names nuns in Spokane.

Great job on Make this week! Thoroughly enjoyed it from afar (online). Having worked conferences in the past, I know it’s a true (and massive) labor of love. Just say’n, it matters. It was beyond encouraging for where I’m at in ministry and business and life. So thankful for God blessing y’all.

Will it be possible on your revised site to setup a mailing list to automatically send out cards ie: Birthday and Anniversary Cards?

Dear Sister Patricia, really appreciate your holyecards site. Used it for the first time yesterday and then again today. Wonder if there is a way to make any donations for the e cards we send. Tried linking up with the “Donation” link but it does not work.
    God bless all your efforts

Thanks for your publication. One other thing is the fact that individual American states have their unique laws of which affect householders, which makes it very difficult for the our elected representatives to come up with a fresh set of recommendations concerning foreclosures on people. The problem is that a state possesses own guidelines which may interact in a negative manner in relation to foreclosure procedures.
